No data is sent to our servers. Everything you enter — menus, staff, tips, ingredients — is saved locally in your browser using localStorage. It stays on your device. Clearing your browser data will clear your saved work.

Yes. You define your staff, their roles and availability, your shift templates, and your daily requirements — then hit Solve. The tool uses a constraint-based algorithm to assign shifts and generate a full week's rota. You can lock specific assignments before solving if you need certain people in certain shifts.

In the UK, tips distributed through a formal tronc scheme are treated differently for income tax and National Insurance purposes. The Tip Calculator labels outputs accordingly so your payroll team or accountant can see at a glance how the distribution was structured. Always confirm with a payroll professional for your specific situation.

Unfortunately not — because data is stored only in your browser's localStorage (not on our servers), we have no copy of it. If you cleared your browser data or used a different device or browser, the data won't be there. We recommend exporting or printing important rotas and quotes before closing the tab.
